Youth
After School Program
The aim of the after school program is to help the area's youth move forward in school and attain academic excellence. Tutors are available to assist with homework or focus on specific areas of need. Educational games and puzzles as well as the computer lab are sometimes used to help with the learning process. Structured activities and games are offered to help stimulate creativitiy, foster cooperation, and build community. A snack and hot meal are served during the program.
Monday and Wednesday 3pm-5pm
Summer Camp
Summer Camp provides youth with structured summer activities. These activities help develop the youth through education and recreation. The goal of the summer camp is to provide the area youth with positive character building activities. The program also helps build leadership skills and abilities.
July
Basketball Tournament
This program is designed to provide structured summer activites for the area's youth, as well as to nurture a sense of positive competition in these individuals. Participants represent their neighborhoods and, in doing so, build self esteem and community pride.

Environmental Education
The goal of environmental education at Bragg Hill Family Life Center is to enhance the understanding of local youth in the areas of environmental awareness, respect, and safety. The center also looks to enhance the academic achievement of the area's students by including SOL-focused tutoring in all subject areas for all age levels. The new environmental education program is called CARE.

CARE aims to promote conservation practices, Awareness of environmental and community issues, and instill a respect for nature in our youth. The CARE program strives to keep the Brag gHill Community actively engaged in community service and development.
Cadet Corps
The purpose of this pilot program is to provide an enriching extra curricular experience for the area's youth and their families that incorporates human growth and development stages with: Leadership; Mentorship; Self Actualization; Family/Cultural Calues; Scholastic Achievement; and Community Activism. These aspects will aid in development and fulfillment of their roles as productive intelligent, and conscientious members of society.

Santa Visit
This program provides children in the Bragg Hill and surrounding area with gifts, treats, and a picture with Santa Clause during the holiday season. Each child revieces a chosen gift, 1 book, 1 stuffed toy, hats and/or gloves and toothbrushes and toothpaste. The Santa Visit event provides the children and parents with gifts during the holiday. Made possible through a partnership with Toys for Tots.
