Community
This program is designed to provide community fellowship and pride and to welcome new faces to the Bragg Hill Community. The event consists of a prayer walk, remarks from local and/or state officials, food, gospel entertainment, access to local area health and community services, and entertainment for youth (including horse rides, amusement games, face painting, etc.). Also, the BHFLC Basketball Tournament Championship game is held on this day. Local health and community service groups, along with church organizations offer information and services. Made possible through a partnership with Mary Washington Hospital Auxiliary's Mobile Health Clinic, area churches, and social services groups.

Financial, physical, emotional, and spiritual assistance is offered during office hours. Case by Case basis.
The holiday assistance program provides food and other holiday necessities to needy families in the community. The type and amount of assistance is provided on a case-by-case basis.
Open Pre-Thanksgiving and Pre-Christmas dinners are provided to the entire community. The dinners promote fellowship and community involvement.
The prayer group is an ecumenical, diverse group of women who meet weekly to pray for the Bragg Hill Ministry. Intercessory prayer is made for the physical, financial, spiritual, and emotional needs of the whole community.

BHFLC is not able to provide all the services necessary to the entire community, Referral assistance helps individuals find the appropriate public service program for their particular issue.
TEACH: Technology Education And Career Help
The TEACH program will offer computer classes that will provide basic skills to the area's residents focusing on typing, word processing, and internet use. BHFLC will also offer an introduction to computers to those that have had no previous access to technology. These classes are designed to equip participants with the skills necessary to compete in today's job market. There will also be workforce development workshops focusing on resume and interview skills as well as job search techniques. The TEACH program will begin in early 2005.
2003 marked the beginning of BHFLC's partnership with Friends of the Rappahannock. This partnership aims to further a sense of stewardship in our community.
